Kidz Konference to engage youth during Annual Conference 2017
GREENVILLE—While the grown-ups do their version of Annual Conference, this year, children will get their own.
As a way to engage children during Annual Conference, organizers will hold Kidz Konference, a camp-style event where kids can play, laugh, sing, explore, worship and more while their parents do the business of the church at the main event.
Kidz Konference is for children ages 6 weeks to those who have finished fifth grade. They will be cared for onsite at no charge. Babies and toddlers will have fun together with staff and volunteers who will care for them and provide fun activities for them, while allowing plenty of time for free play and rest. Preschool and elementary-age students will spend time with volunteers who will be hosting them each day with all sorts of activities from water play to animals to much more. Kids will be learning and playing, exploring and growing together in a loving Christian setting.
Lunch and snacks will be provided each day, and all volunteers and staff will be fully background checked and safe sanctuary trained.
More information will be coming soon, but organizers encourage families to be sure to plan on bringing the whole family to Annual Conference this year in Greenville.
