More racial narratives sought for second Advocate book on racial awakenings

We must talk about racial issues and racial awakening in the name of Jesus and His call to love ALL people as ourselves.

In that vein, the Advocate is seeking submissions for another racial narrative project, which we hope to turn into a book. (To learn more about the first book, click here.)

Anyone with any tie to South Carolina United Methodism is welcome to submit. Submissions should be 500-1,000 words and include your name, church name, etc. and be a personal reflection about how your eyes were opened and you experienced a racial awakening in your life.

Email your narrative to [email protected].
