UMCSC to offer two more dementia care workshops

Churches and individuals interested in a dementia care ministry are invited to join the South Carolina Cognitive Connection Ministry for Dementia Care Workshops.

The workshops will be a morning of conversation and learning around a topic that affects all congregations: dementia. 

Retired United Methodist Bishop Ken Carder and South Carolina Department on Aging representative Tori Anderson will share essential information about how to be in ministry with those living with dementia.

Two separate workshops will be held:

• Aug. 28, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at St. Paul UMC, 1107 S. Main St., Greenville, SC 29601 (to register: https://tinyurl.com/mrkmrc6e); and

• Sept. 25, 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Mount Hebron UMC, 3060 Leaphart Road, West Columbia, SC 29169 (to register: https://tinyurl.com/y8mcdeuv).
