South Carolina United Methodist Camps & Retreat Ministries put on two weeks of day camp at Camp Providence in Anderson recently: June 25-29 and July 2-6, serving more than 30 campers collectively.

Casey Fouts, Anderson Housing Authority, brought campers each day arriving at 10 a.m. Campers started their day with games and songs, then went into devotions focusing on what it means to defy their fears and declare victory in God.

After craft time and lunch, campers broke into small groups and rotated between pool/lake swimming, boating and archery/games.

Campers were even given the opportunity to try canoeing and take a golf lesson from a LPGA professional at the golf course across the street.

Campers ended the day with games and songs then small group devotions.
