ERT 20th anniversary party set for November

South Carolina United Methodist Volunteers in Mission’s Early Response Team celebrates 20 years in 2024.

To commemorate their anniversary, ERT members and other supporters will gather for an ERT 20th anniversary celebration Saturday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m. at Mount Hebron United Methodist Church.

Mount Hebron UMC is located at 3050 Leaphart Road in West Columbia.

The event will feature pulled pork and dessert, entertainment, storytelling, memories and good fellowship throughout the afternoon, ending around 3 p.m.

A 20-year anniversary book is being produced for the occasion, and memorabilia and gifts will be available. All who support the ministry are encouraged to turn out for this event.

“We give God all glory as we celebrate 20 years of his service being his hands and feet to the world, especially the Southeast,” said Billy Robinson, ERT coordinator.
