Cox returns to lead credit union as acting president

After 14 years away helping other ministries in South Carolina, one United Methodist is returning to his former position at the South Carolina Methodist Conference Credit Union. Andy Cox, a member of Chapin UMC, Chapin, has been selected by the credit union board to serve as its acting president. By Jessica Brodie.

Five new board members elected to Advocate

Five people have joined the Board of Trustees of the South Carolina United Methodist Advocate, replacing those whose terms of service had expired. New members are David Bryant, the Rev. Sharon Spann Gamble, the Rev. Michael Henderson, Licita Rogers and Michelle Sturzenbecker.
